Project Description
Le Pisani Restaurant in the center or Seaton was the result of an ambitious circular extension to the rear of a former cafe on fore street. The Cafe was gutted; the front became a shop facing fore street and the rear was extended, adjoining a circular, timber clad restaurant.. The mono pitch roof tilts creating sloped ceiling inside surrounding a central steel column.
A refreshing piece of architecture and and an interesting build with irregular spaces that molded nicely to its end use. Ply hit and miss, designed by NBC, created a feature for the dining area, with circular bar and wrap around seating area. A canopy was added to keep the sun (or rain!) off diners on the terrace.
