About the Tick Tocks project
Working in partnership with NDM Collins and our longstanding client, Axe Properties, we were delighted to bring this innovative nursery and play café project to life in Axminster. This endeavour involved relocating a local day-care business and expanding their vision to include a vibrant play café featuring state-of-the-art soft play equipment. Collaborating closely with the developer and the future tenants, we meticulously ensured the building met all functional and aesthetic requirements.
Key features include child-friendly mini toilet cubicles, an enclosed outdoor play area with a colourful safety surface, and two sets of bi-fold doors that create a seamless flow between indoor and outdoor spaces, promoting year-round play. For colder months, underfloor heating throughout the building ensures a warm and welcoming environment for both children and staff, even during floor-based activities. This project perfectly showcases our commitment to creating practical, inspiring spaces tailored to the needs of our clients.
